is one of the longest established suppliers in the West of Ireland. Pat Walsh from Annakeen, Headford opened his new business in 1986. A small operation of just 2 people and in a time when Ireland was experiencing a full blown recession.

Pat knew that price would be a huge contributing factor but service and delivering on time every time, was going to be crucial. Little did we think that now in 2013 we have come full circle and price and service were never more important than during our current economic downturn.

Business grew at a steady pace and the majority of the business was supplying products directly to the trade. Pat saw an opening in the market to supply quality bathroom ware directly to the public. So in 1997 he and his brother Vincent opened Bathroom World on the Tuam Road, above Classic Tiles whose business complimented the whole bathroom world idea.

Time has moved on and as pat approaches his 27th year in business he has recognized the future is in Green Energy - The world and the general public are aware of global warming and the need to become efficient in our use of natural resources. This is the direction Walsh's

Heating and Plumbing will focus over the next decade.
